Vintage Southeast Asian Hill Tribe Necklace, hand-made with 1 lb coin silver

Description

Vintage Southeast Asian Hill Tribe Necklace, hand-made with almost 1 lb coin silver. Purchased in Bangkok in the mid-1970s. Probably made sometime in the 1940s or 1950s.  The entire neckless weights 15.8 ounces.  The finely braided strand measures 12 inches from the center of the large pendant to the clasp.  The total length of the strand is about 30 inches. The large pendant is 5 inches wide and 4.5 inches long.  The small pendants on each side are about 2.5 inches long and 1.5 inches wide.
