Selling off 35+ year collection of Imperial German and General rank uniforms, spikes, orders and misc items.
Published by the Standard Art Book Company, LTD circa 1920. Three Volume set with a complete record of all officers, non-commissioned officers and enlisted of his Majesty's Naval, Military and Air Forces who have been awarded the Victoria Cross and the Distinguished Service Order from the time of their institution. Included are descriptions of their deeds and the services which won them these distinctions. Included with most is a picture and other biographical details. Bindings and spines show wear and slight separation. A superbly researched and detailed listing of Great Britain's Heroes.
Some of the items I'm listing are unsold lots from a Thies auction from a few years ago when I consigned my entire collection. Hence the numbers that appear in some of the photographs. If you would like additional pictures, please just let me know.
