    Description

This is an exceptional Northwest Coast Haida model of a whaling boat.  It is from a museum out of British Columbia that closed over 10 years ago and is approximately 100 years old.  The boat is 14 inches tall by 25 inches in length and has a nice museum made stand that comes with it for display.  From the Trudy Lord Collection out of Washington State.  Very fine detail to this piece with attention to detail.  Truly made by a skilled master.  Made from yellow-cedar, hand woven netting, canvas material sail, animal hide, and polychrome paint.  Please check out my other great auctions and good luck.
